LOLC Microfinance Bank is seeking an experienced Manager - Operational Risk to lead and enhance the operational risk management framework within the organization. This role demands a dedicated professional with a minimum of four years of experience who will oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks that could impact the bank’s operations and reputation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of two, driving risk assessment processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining robust incident management practices. The role involves proactive management of operational risk indicators and business continuity strategies to safeguard assets and ensure uninterrupted banking services. This manager will play a key role in performing risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) and monitoring key risk indicators (KRIs) to identify potential vulnerabilities. They will ensure business continuity planning (BCP) and business impact analysis (BIA) are up to date and effectively communicated across the organization. The role also includes managing incident reporting and maintaining a loss database to analyze trends and implement corrective actions promptly. Additionally, the manager oversees third-party risk management and vendor onboarding processes, as well as evaluating operational risks related to processes and product revenues. This position demands strong leadership, analytical skills, and comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory environment governing microfinance operations.
