This role also involves managing a team of 10 professionals, guiding and mentoring them to achieve high performance in delivering accurate financial planning and analysis. The Chief Financial Officer collaborates closely with other senior leaders to align financial goals with the company’s overall objectives. The ideal candidate brings at least three years of relevant experience along with strong leadership and analytical skills to drive business growth and financial stability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to provide timely and accurate forecasts, reports, and insights.
- Manage the budgeting process ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient allocation of resources.
- Oversee compliance with tax laws and regulations, ensuring accurate tax filings and minimizing liabilities.
- Direct financial reporting activities, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage a team of 10 finance professionals, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate and support business growth opportunities and financial risks.
- Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve financial accuracy.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to optimize financial strength and liquidity.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Provide executive-level financial advice to the board and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
