Civil Site Engineer

M4W Construction is seeking a dedicated Civil Site Engineer with at least five years of professional experience managing construction sites. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate extensive knowledge in construction site supervision, interpreting construction drawings, and ensuring quality assurance and quality control measures are met. This role involves managing a team of 20 persons, leading daily operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to established safety and environmental standards. The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all construction activities at various site locations. They will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while maintaining high-quality work standards. This position demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. The engineer will play a critical role in the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring that all technical requirements and organizational policies are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities and personnel to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Interpret and apply construction drawings, plans, and specifications accurately to guide construction execution.
• Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures to maintain high construction standards and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations to minimize risks and maintain safe work environments.
• Lead and coordinate a team of 20 construction workers, providing guidance, training, and performance assessments.
• Monitor construction progress and generate regular reports to update management and stakeholders on project status.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and optimize construction methods.
• Plan resource allocation including materials, equipment, and manpower to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and address potential risks or problems that could affect project timelines and costs.
• Maintain communication between clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and material availability.
• Manage documentation including work orders, safety logs, and compliance reports for auditing and record-keeping purposes.
