Description
MattressMakers seeks a skilled Mattress Production worker with at least 2 years of experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is proficient in operating and setting up pocket spring machines and has a strong background in spring unit assembly and machine operation. This role involves ensuring the efficient production of high-quality mattress components while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Mattress Production worker will manage a small team of 2 persons, supervising daily tasks and ensuring smooth workflow within the production line. This position requires a hands-on approach to machine setup, operation, and monitoring to optimize production output. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets. By overseeing the pocket spring machine and coordinating with team members, the Mattress Production worker plays a key role in delivering superior mattress products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the pocket spring machine in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines.
- Assemble spring units with precision, ensuring each component meets quality specifications.
- Manage and lead a team of 2 production workers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to achieve production goals.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machines to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machine-related issues and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Record production data accurately, including output quantities and any quality defects.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding production processes and equipment handling.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and any challenges encountered.
