Maymar Bites is seeking a dedicated Cashier with extensive experience to join our family-oriented team. This role requires an individual who approaches their work with care and responsibility, as if managing their own family business. The Cashier will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions, providing excellent customer service, and managing financial accuracy. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 14 persons, guiding and supporting them to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cash handling and customer interactions, together with a commitment to creating a positive and welcoming environment for customers. You will be expected to handle monetary exchanges accurately, resolve customer issues promptly, and work collaboratively with other departments. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in managing the team effectively, ensuring productivity, and fostering a cooperative workplace culture at Maymar Bites.

Responsibilities

• Manage all cashier functions accurately, including cash handling, transactions, and reconciliations.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Supervise, train, and support a team of 14 cashiers, promoting teamwork and efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace that complies with company policies and standards.
• Ensure all sales transactions are processed promptly and correctly, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
• Monitor daily cash balances, prepare reports, and deposit cash according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with management to improve operational systems and customer service practices.
• Resolve conflicts or issues among team members and customers swiftly and effectively.
• Implement and enforce security measures to prevent theft or fraud within the cashier area.
• Assist with inventory checks and supply ordering relevant to cashier operations as needed.
