Manager Security Integration

Description

MCB is seeking a qualified Manager Security Integration to lead and oversee the design and implementation of security architectures for enterprise-level applications, APIs, and databases. This leadership role requires hands-on experience in advanced network security and IT infrastructures along with a solid understanding of coding principles. The ideal candidate will have a deep familiarity with API gateways and web application firewalls, ensuring optimal protection of our critical systems. The candidate will manage a team of 4 professionals, guiding their efforts in conducting security reviews and risk assessments tailored specifically for banking or financial institutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholders. This position demands a proven ability to balance technical expertise with leadership capabilities to maintain and enhance the company’s security posture.

Education :

Masters/Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity / Information Security / Information Technology /  Computer Science 

Certifications (preferred but not required):

CEH , CASP+ , CSSLP , GDBA , OCP

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive security architectures covering applications, APIs, and database systems.
• Conduct thorough security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to identify potential threats and recommend appropriate mitigations in a banking or financial context.
• Manage and mentor a team of 4 security professionals, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and supporting their professional growth.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with IT, development, and operations teams to integrate security controls seamlessly into IT infrastructures and workflows.
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of API gateways and web application firewalls to ensure continuous threat protection.
• Provide technical guidance on secure coding principles and best practices to development teams to minimize security risks.
• Communicate complex security concepts and risks effectively to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a security-aware culture.
• Stay current on emerging security trends, tools, and threats to proactively enhance the security framework.
• Coordinate incident response activities related to security breaches and support post-incident analysis and improvements.
