Meer's Interior seeks a skilled Production Planning, Operations & 3D Design Coordinator to oversee and streamline the production and operational activities within the company’s furniture manufacturing environment. This role involves coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of customer orders. The position requires proficiency in 3D design software and AutoCAD to create detailed interior designs that enhance customer experiences. The successful candidate will manage a team of eight professionals, fostering effective collaboration and workflow optimization to meet project deadlines and achieve production goals. The ideal candidate possesses at least three years of experience in furniture manufacturing, production coordination, or factory operations, coupled with strong analytical and organizational skills. Responsibilities include developing detailed 3D interior visualizations, managing multiple design projects and customer orders simultaneously, and maintaining meticulous order tracking using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. This role demands excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities with comprehensive knowledge of furniture materials, wood finishes, upholstery, fabrics, laminates, and interior color coordination principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of furniture manufacturing projects.
• Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels of materials related to furniture production.
• Manage operations to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity within the production environment.
• Create detailed 3D interior design visualizations, including mood boards and customer presentations, to support project proposals and client engagements.
• Develop accurate 2D layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD to facilitate furniture manufacturing and installation.
• Collaborate closely with design, procurement, and production teams to align project specifications with production capabilities.
• Track and report order progress using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Manage multiple customer orders and design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Lead and motivate a team of eight staff members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to maximize productivity.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of furniture materials, wood finishes, upholstery, fabrics, laminates, and interior color coordination to enhance design quality and manufacturability.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve operational challenges and maintain project flow.
• Identify process improvements and workflow optimizations to enhance operational efficiency and reduce production costs.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all stages of production and operations.
