Mehria Town is seeking an experienced Manager with a civil engineering background to oversee finishing works on high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of proven experience managing finishing operations, ensuring that all assignments meet quality standards and project timelines. This role demands a professional who can interpret architectural drawings and specifications accurately, manage defect rectification and snagging processes thoroughly, and drive smooth building handover and closeout activities. The candidate will lead a team of 15 professionals, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts to maintain seamless workflow and timely completion of finishing tasks. The successful Manager will be responsible for enforcing quality assurance and quality control inspections, managing defect rectification workflows to guarantee flawless finishes, and preparing comprehensive closeout documentation including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties. With a keen eye for detail and strong leadership capabilities, this position requires delivering high-quality finishing work aligned with both client expectations and regulatory standards. The Manager will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure project success from start to finish while fostering a positive and productive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finishing works for high-rise building projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications accurately to guide and supervise finishing operations.
• Oversee the snagging process, identify defects, and implement efficient rectification strategies to resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct thorough finishing quality assurance and quality control inspections, guaranteeing compliance with all technical and safety requirements.
• Manage defect rectification workflows ensuring that all finishing defects are documented, monitored, and resolved effectively.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of 15 personnel specializing in various finishing tasks, providing clear guidance and support to optimize productivity and quality.
• Prepare and review building handover and closeout documentation, such as as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty packages.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure finishing work meets design intent and client expectations.
• Monitor project progress and performance indicators, proactively addressing risks or delays related to finishing activities.
• Implement continuous improvement practices in finishing techniques and processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the finishing phase.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team and between stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.
• Manage resource allocation and assist in procurement to ensure availability of necessary materials and equipment for finishing work.
