Metalogue is seeking a reliable and consistent Video Editor with a minimum of three years of experience to join the team. This role involves editing 10 to 20 short-form reels weekly, ensuring clean cuts and good pacing while adding subtitles, captions, and on-screen text. The ideal candidate understands basic video editing principles, follows references closely, and delivers high-quality edits within 48 hours. This position requires strong communication skills, responsiveness, and the ability to take ownership of assignments. The role combines remote work with an on-site meeting once a week.

Responsibilities

The Video Editor is responsible for producing straightforward video content by following provided references and adhering to defined guidelines. The work demands careful attention to detail in editing simple, clear videos without advanced transitions or complex effects. The editor makes sure each piece maintains proper storytelling and pacing to engage viewers effectively. Tasks include adding subtitles and captions to enhance content accessibility.

The role calls for consistency in meeting deadlines and maintaining reliable and timely communication with the team. The editor is expected to manage multiple video projects simultaneously while ensuring each project is delivered within the specified 48-hour timeframe. Working as part of Metalogue's creative team, the editor contributes to achieving the company’s content goals and supports hybrid work dynamics with both remote and in-person collaboration.
