Description
Midad Quran Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Online Quran Teacher to deliver personalized one-to-one Quran lessons primarily to students in the UK and USA. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent Quran recitation skills with accurate Tajweed, a strong command of Tajweed rules, and fluent English communication skills to explain Quranic concepts clearly and patiently. This remote position requires evening and night availability according to Pakistan time, a reliable internet connection, and a quiet environment to ensure focused teaching sessions. The selected teacher will focus on individual online Quran instruction, emphasizing Quran reading skills, Tajweed, and related Islamic studies, maintaining consistent progress monitoring and offering supportive corrections. Candidates with at least two years of Quran teaching experience, preferably online, relevant Quranic qualifications such as Hafiza or Qaria with Tajweed training, and a professional and patient teaching style are encouraged to apply. This role does not involve managing a team, allowing the teacher to concentrate fully on student success and delivering high-quality educational experiences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized one-on-one online Quran lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Teach Quran recitation with precise Tajweed rules and proper pronunciation.
- Explain Tajweed concepts and Quranic rules clearly in English to facilitate student understanding.
- Assess students’ Quran reading and recitation skills, identifying errors and providing constructive, patient corrections.
- Develop lesson plans and adapt teaching approaches to suit each learner's progress and learning pace.
- Monitor students’ learning progress continuously, ensuring steady improvement and retention.
- Maintain a supportive, professional, and engaging teaching environment aligned with Midad Quran Academy's standards.
- Prepare students for assessments by reinforcing Quran memorization and recitation techniques.
- Adhere strictly to the academy's safeguarding policies and ethical teaching practices.
- Utilize technology effectively for remote teaching, ensuring clear audio and video communication during lessons.
- Be punctual and manage class schedules reliably to accommodate learners in different time zones.
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student evaluations.
