MJ Enterprises is seeking a diligent and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the company's vision and quality standards. This role is perfect for individuals who have some experience in video editing or interns eager to learn and grow their skills in a professional environment. A strong understanding of English is essential, as it facilitates clear communication and the ability to follow detailed instructions effectively. The Video Editor plays a key role in enhancing the storytelling and visual impact of our video content. The position involves working closely with the production team to refine and polish video materials through editing, color correction, and sound integration. Although this role does not supervise others, it requires excellent individual organization, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous learning and development in video editing techniques and software tools.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into compelling video content that meets project objectives and company standards.
- Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance video quality and engagement.
- Review and apply feedback to improve video edits ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and deliver on time.
- Maintain an organized archive of video assets, edits, and project files for easy retrieval.
- Continuously improve editing skills and stay updated with industry trends and software updates.
- Ensure all video content complies with company guidelines and copyright laws.
- Assist in the creation of subtitles or captions in English to enhance accessibility.
- Prepare rough cuts and final copies for review and approval by stakeholders.
- Manage basic color grading and audio mixing to improve the overall presentation of videos.
- Support other multimedia projects as needed while prioritizing video editing tasks.
