Description
MM Consultants is seeking a creative and technically skilled Interior Designer with at least 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing innovative and functional interior design solutions that meet client needs and reflect current market trends. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in space planning, materials and finishes selection, and produces high-quality design presentations using industry-standard tools. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering visually appealing and practical designs are essential qualities for success in this position. As an Interior Designer at MM Consultants, you will collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements, transforming concepts into detailed 2D and 3D design documentation. You will use your proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D visualization software to create comprehensive plans and presentations that support the design development process. Although this position does not involve team management responsibilities, effective communication and coordination with project stakeholders and contractors are vital to ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative interior designs that reflect client needs and current market trends.
- Create detailed space plans and layouts to optimize functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Prepare 2D CAD drafting and construction documentation including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Produce 3D models and visualizations using software such as SketchUp and other 3D visualization tools to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet design intent, budget, and sustainability goals.
- Conduct client presentations to articulate design concepts and adjustments, fostering understanding and approval.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and other project team members to ensure design integrity during project execution.
- Stay informed about current design trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance design quality and practice standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Maintain accurate records of project details, specifications, and changes throughout the design process.
