Mart Supervisor

Description

Mushtarka Petroleum is seeking a diligent Mart Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily operations of our retail mart located in Lahore, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor's Degree from an HEC recognized university and have a minimum of one year of experience in retail operations or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a commerce degree and relevant experience. This position offers a handsome package with allowances and involves managing a team of six personnel to ensure smooth store functioning and excellent service delivery. As Mart Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining efficient store operations including inventory control, staff scheduling, customer service excellence, and loss prevention. You will be responsible for overseeing point-of-sale systems, managing cash handling processes, and preparing sales reports to aid in business decisions. This role demands strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure that daily retail activities align with company policies and achieve sales targets while providing a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the mart to ensure efficient and smooth functioning.
• Lead and coordinate a team of six staff members by managing schedules, assigning tasks, and providing necessary training and support.
• Monitor and control inventory levels through regular stock checks and timely replenishment to avoid stock outs or overstock situations.
• Oversee the operation of Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems, ensuring accurate transaction processing and cash handling procedures.
• Implement strategies to prevent theft and loss, including monitoring store activities and enforcing loss prevention policies.
• Maintain accurate sales reporting and generate reports to track store performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement retail operational policies and procedures in line with company standards.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for organizing data, generating reports, and analyzing sales figures and inventory data.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations within the retail environment.
• Support merchandising efforts by coordinating product displays and promotional activities to maximize sales.
• Manage cash handling operations, perform daily cash reconciliation, and secure monetary transactions.
