Muwafaq is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Remote Accountant to join our dynamic team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work online from any location while managing a team of 12 professionals. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for those possessing a master's degree. With at least five years of proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management, the candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance. The Remote Accountant takes on a pivotal role in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing bank reconciliations. The position demands proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. This role also provides support to management with accurate financial insights and recommendations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports to ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and thorough financial analyses to detect discrepancies and improve accuracy.
• Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements to mitigate financial risks.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support long-term financial planning and business objectives.
• Prepare and manage tax-related documentation to comply with current laws and optimize tax obligations.
• Develop and maintain proficiency in accounting software and Excel to streamline financial processes.
• Support management by providing accurate financial insights, reports, and actionable recommendations.
• Lead and supervise a team of 12 accounting personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal controls and financial procedures.
• Monitor industry changes and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
