Description
Naeem Electronics is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and direct the Finance function with a strategic focus. The CFO will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company’s financial strategy, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management. This role demands an experienced financial leader capable of working closely with the CEO and senior management to drive business growth, sustain long-term financial health, and enhance operational efficiency. The CFO will manage a dedicated finance team of 40 professionals, fostering leadership, accountability, and high performance within the department. The successful candidate will oversee all financial controls and compliance measures, manage relationships with stakeholders, and support critical business decisions through insightful financial analysis. They will be responsible for budget management, cost control, forecasting, and financial modeling, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. This role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic vision, and deep expertise in finance management to guide Naeem Electronics towards continued growth and financial stability.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Finance & Accounts team, managing and mentoring a team of forty finance professionals.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the company’s comprehensive financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives and long-term plans.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports, management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and insights to support executive decision-making.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, incorporating stringent budget controls and variance analyses.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and overall financial health to ensure sustainable profitability.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting systems to safeguard company assets and ensure reliable financial data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, accounting standards, statutory requirements, and corporate governance policies.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax consultants, financial institutions, and other external partners effectively.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, responding proactively to audit findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to protect the organization’s interests and optimize risk-adjusted returns.
- Evaluate and provide financial analysis for key business decisions, including investments, expansions, capital expenditures, and major projects.
- Drive initiatives focused on cost control, financial efficiency, optimization of working capital, and profitability enhancement.
- Monitor financial performance across various business units, identifying and recommending opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Set and track critical financial key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure ongoing financial discipline and operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and senior leadership to integrate financial considerations into overall business strategies.
- Uphold high standards of financial governance, transparency, and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
- Undertake additional strategic financial responsibilities as directed by the CEO or Board of Directors to further the company’s mission and objectives.
