Naeem Electronics is seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization. This role requires a qualified professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, possessing expert knowledge in internal audit principles and practices. The position demands a detail-oriented individual with the ability to analyze financial statements, assess regulatory compliance, and detect potential fraud risks. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the candidate must demonstrate excellent independent work capabilities and strong analytical skills to support audit planning and execution effectively. The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for conducting comprehensive internal control evaluations, preparing well-structured audit reports, and providing actionable recommendations to senior management. The role involves planning and executing risk assessments, monitoring compliance with statutory regulations, and ensuring that organizational activities align with internal policies and external requirements. The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or an MS in Accounting & Finance with relevant auditing experience, including completion of CA Finalist or Intermediate levels with at least five years of internal audit experience. Proficiency in statistical analysis, Excel, and report writing are essential to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and oversee thorough internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Perform risk assessments to identify areas of high vulnerability and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.
- Detect and investigate instances of potential fraud by analyzing financial records and transactions.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data using statistical methods and Excel tools to support audit conclusions and decision making.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to implement improvements in control processes and monitor the progress of corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current accounting standards, auditing practices, and relevant laws to ensure audit procedures remain effective and compliant.
- Support senior leadership in the development and enhancement of internal audit programs and procedures.
- Ensure all audit activities are performed in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
- Continuously evaluate internal audit processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging technology where applicable.
