Description
Nasir Hayat Construction is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a minimum of two years of experience in the civil engineering and construction industry. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. This role demands expertise in construction project execution, site supervision, and proficiency in AutoCAD. The candidate must demonstrate solid problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment. While this position does not include team management responsibilities, the Civil Engineer will play a critical role in supporting project goals and ensuring quality standards throughout the construction process. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for applying engineering principles to design, plan, and oversee construction projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely completion. This includes working closely with project managers and stakeholders, preparing technical drawings and documentation using Building Information Modeling and AutoCAD, and inspecting work sites to monitor progress and adherence to specifications. The candidate must be adaptable and proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions to maintain project efficiency and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review project plans, blueprints, and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals to coordinate project tasks and resolve technical challenges.
- Monitor the progress of construction projects, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to project status, material usage, and labor requirements.
- Assist in the estimation of project costs, resource allocation, and scheduling to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and solution-oriented work environment.
- Participate in problem-solving activities to address design, structural, or logistical issues encountered during project execution.
- Stay current with new technologies, methods, and materials in civil engineering and construction to continually improve project outcomes.
