In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of of Information Technology based at Karachi.

Manager – IT Compliance Management (AVP)
Reporting to:
Unit Head – IT Compliance Management
Educational /Professional Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and / or Graduation with a Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent, from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
Candidates having relevant certification(s) will be preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 06 years of experience in the field of IT, out of which 03 years in IT Audit Coordination and / or IT Compliance, preferably in bank(s)
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
Strong knowledge of IT systems, information security, IT governance, and risk management frameworks
Sound understanding of the regulatory environment, banking industry standards, and applicable IT Governance and compliance requirements
Ability to interpret regulatory directives, circulars, audit requirements, and translate them into effective IT controls and compliance measures
Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across IT, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Business functions
Proven experience in managing compliance trackers, monitoring audit observations, maintaining supporting evidence, and ensuring the timely closure of audit and regulatory findings
Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare executive reports, compliance dashboards, and management presentations
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
To lead and oversee the Bank's IT Compliance Management function, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
To coordinate and manage IT compliance activities related to internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections conducted by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and other relevant authorities
To ensure the timely preparation and submission of regulatory responses, compliance reports, management attestations, audit evidence, and other required documentation
To monitor, track, and report the status of IT audit observations, regulatory findings, compliance issues, and remediation activities, ensuring timely resolution and escalation, where necessary
To collaborate with Information Technology, Information Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Business Units to facilitate effective compliance management and timely closure of audit and regulatory observations
To review, develop, and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, organizational objectives, and industry standards
To ensure ongoing compliance with SBP regulations, circulars, guidelines, information security requirements, IT governance frameworks, and applicable data protection, confidentiality, and records retention requirements
To prepare and present periodic compliance dashboards, Management Information Reports (MIS), executive summaries, and committee papers for senior management and governance forums
To facilitate regulatory inspections, compliance assessments, audit walkthroughs, and supervisory reviews by coordinating stakeholders and ensuring timely availability of supporting documentation and evidences
To identify emerging regulatory requirements, compliance gaps, and technology-related risks, and recommend appropriate corrective, preventive, and process improvement measures
To maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, audit trails, issue registers, evidence repositories, and regulatory correspondence to support audit readiness and continuous compliance
To promote a culture of regulatory compliance, risk awareness, and continuous improvement by providing guidance and support to relevant stakeholders across the Bank
To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
