In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of Information Technology based in Karachi.
The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:
Position / Job Title:
Senior Business Analyst – Core Banking (AVP)
Reporting to:
Unit Head – CBA Business Analysis
Educational /Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and / or Graduation with a Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
- Candidates having relevant certification(s) will be preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 06 years of experience in the field of IT, out of which 03 years in Business Analysis or in a similar role, preferably in banking and / or financial institution
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
- Sound knowledge of Core Banking Solution(s) / ADC Channels / Enterprise Applications
- Hands-on experience of translating business requirements into IT Solutions, preparation / reviewing of test cases, and processing change requests as per project’s scope
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- To formulate and define system scope and objective through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements for business as usual and software upgrade initiatives of the Core Banking Application(s)
- To analyze business and user’s needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement / specifications
- To analyze industry and technology best practices, vendor products / services and develop / modify complex information systems
- To analyze, identify, document business processes and metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- To identify / document business strategies, objectives, and drivers
- To identify / document how applications and systems interact to support business processes and assess the impact of system changes on users and clients (internal and external) / stakeholders
- To re-engineer processes for delivering greater effectiveness and efficiency
- To write test plans and test cases to ensure changes that are made to the application meet client needs and application integrity is maintained
- To conduct a variety of tests, such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests
- To ensure that the changes made by programmers are correct and conduct tests using client data to ensure that the client requirement is completely addressed
- To verify through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts and report & review testing results
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
