In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of Risk Management based at Karachi.
The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:
Position / Job Title:
Senior Manager - Credit Policy (AVP / VP)
Reporting to:
Wing Head - Credit Policy Wing - Credit Risk Management Division
Educational / Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
- Candidates having Master's degree and / or relevant professional qualifications such as Data Analytics, CFA, FRM, ACCA or ICMA will be given preference
Experience:
- Minimum 06 years of banking experience in Corporate and / or Commercial and / or SME lending either on the business side and / or in risk management in a Commercial Bank
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge:
- Attention to detail in ensuring data accuracy, maintenance and confidentiality
- Data and portfolio analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Sound understanding of Credit Policy and SBP Regulations
- Good analytical, data management and problem solving skills
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- To prepare periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports for Senior Management and the Board of Directors covering key areas of credit approvals, in line with the Bank's approved policies and regulatory requirements
- To coordinate with relevant business and support units for timely provision of complete and accurate data, ensuring consistency and resolution of discrepancies before submission within the timeline
- To prepare agenda papers and presentations for submission of credit related MIS to the Bank's senior management and board, highlighting key trends, exceptions and areas requiring management attention
- To maintain proper documentation and records of MIS submissions, supporting data and committee minutes etc.
- To collect, consolidate and analyze MIS on Seasonal Financing Products and share the same with line manager
- To review and revise credit approval documents, like credit approval memos, approved templates for financial analysis and facility offering templates etc. in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- To suggest improvements in the credit approval process
- To provide support for the development, maintenance and revision of the Bank's credit policies and procedures ensuring that safe, sound and compliant lending processes are in place that support business growth in a responsible manner
- To provide guidance to relevant functions across the Bank on credit policies and procedures to facilitate consistent implementation of credit policies
- To coordinate with the Audit (Internal and External) and compliance for data validation, report verification and other audit queries
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
