In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated, and experienced professional(s) for the following positions in the area of Financial Control based at Karachi.
The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:

Unit Head - Data Analytics & Insights (AVP)
Reporting to:
Wing Head—Strategic Finance & Special Projects
Educational/Professional Qualification
Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan or CA and / or ACCA and / or ICMA
Experience
Minimum 06 years of experience in Data Management and / or Analytics and / or IFRS 9 Models and / or Basel Financial reporting function
Hands on experience with Power BI or equivalent data visualization tools will be preferred
Working knowledge of SQL, Power Query and / or DAX will be preferred
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
Strong data visualization and dashboarding skills, Power BI, Tableau etc.
Good command of financial analysis and interpretation of financial statements
Ability to analyze and present large and complex financial datasets
Excellent PowerPoint and executive presentation skills
Advanced MS Excel skills including data analysis and modelling
Fair understanding of banking products, credit, NPLs, provisioning and regulatory reporting Ability to work effectively with Finance, Risk, Credit, IT and Business teams
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
- To assist in data preparation relating to IFRS 9, financial reporting, management reporting and related requirements
To develop trend, variance and exception analyses, highlighting key movements, data issues and areas requiring management attention
To assist in data preparation for updating EAD, PD, LGD, CCF and other IFRS 9 related models
To assist in data management and updating models used for the fair valuation of investments in unlisted equities
To develop MIS dashboards, analytics and management information for the CFO and senior management
To translate complex data into clear management presentations and C-level visualizations
To perform analytical reviews of financial statement line items, disclosures and accounting information including the identification of unusual movements and inconsistencies
To prepare financial disclosures for annual and quarterly financial statements.
To strengthen data driven financial reporting through improved analytics, visualization and automated reporting tools
To coordinate with Risk, Credit, IT, Business, and Finance teams to ensure the consistency and integrity of data used for financial reporting and related analyses
To support the CFO / Head of Financial Reporting & Strategy in special assignments relating to IFRS 9, financial reporting, accounting and financial analytics
To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
