In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of of Financial Control based at Karachi.
The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Unit Head - GL Control (AVP)
Reporting to:
Wing Head - GL Control Wing
Educational /Professional Qualification:
Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
ACCA Qualified and / or ICMA Qualified and / or CA Part Qualified candidates will be preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 06 years of experience in finance and / or accounts and / or article ship preferably with a financial institution and / or audit firm
- Hands on experience in handling GL accounts will be preferred
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
Sound understanding of business and financial acumen
Excellent business communication, report writing and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Basic understanding of Power BI
Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
Well conversant with relevant regulatory guidelines
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
To liaise with Internal Stakeholders for collection of data regarding GL balancing and Validation
To review and analyze underlying reasons for non balancing and non validation of GLs
To review summarized reports of non balancing and non validation of GLs
To prepare actions plan for remediation of non balancing and non validation
To enlist / extract outstanding / high priority matters for escalation
To analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for GL balancing
To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
