In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of of Financial Control based at Karachi.
The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Wing Head - Fixed Assets Accounting (VP)
Reporting to:
Divisional Head - SBP Reporting & General Accounting
Educational /Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent or ACCA and / or CA and / or ICMA from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
Experience:
- Minimum 08 years of experience in Finance and / or Accounts and / or Article ship preferably with a Financial Institution and / or Audit Firm
- Hands on experience in handling Fixed Assets accounting will be preferred
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
Sound understanding of business and financial acumen
Excellent business communication, report writing and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Basic understanding of Power BI
Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
Well conversant with relevant regulatory guidelines
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- To review FAMS records before addition, deletion, transfer, disposal, obsolete / write off and other amendments of fixed assets
- To review the CWIP schedule and its ageing and ensure timely capitalization of completed projects into the relevant fixed asset accounts
- To monitor project costs recorded under fixed asset / CWIP accounts and ensure appropriate accounting treatment upon completion of projects
- To monitor and assist in the preparation and processing of CAPEX payments for onward submission to the Payment Wing
- To calculate and ensure accurate monthly depreciation on fixed assets and amortization of intangible assets including auto posting of related entries through the Middleware application of ITG
- To process fixed asset-related SAP entries at parking level for quarterly, half yearly and annual closing including disposal related vouchers
- To prepare and provide monthly, quarterly and annual MIS and other information relating to fixed assets for financial reporting, budgeting and management requirements
- To coordinate with Internal and External Auditors and statutory bodies and provide required information and resolve queries relating to fixed assets
- To coordinate with ITG for modifications and enhancements in the Fixed Assets Management System (FAMS) based on business requirements and ensure appropriate system generated accounting entries
- To coordinate and ensure compliance with IFRS 16 requirements for appropriate accounting and financial reporting
- To review information relating to zero value assets and coordinate with Groups and Field Offices for periodic physical verification
- To ensure compliance with the role and responsibilities of FCG as defined in the Bank’s Disposal Policy and other instructions relating to fixed assets
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
