In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated, and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of Information Technology based in Karachi.
The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Wing Head – Project Management Office (VP)
Reporting to:
Divisional Head – Strategy, Risk & Governance
Educational /Professional Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and / or Graduation with a Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent, from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
Recognized Project Management certification such as PMP® / PgMP® / PRINCE2® / MSP® or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 08 years of experience in implementing and managing Project Management Office
Candidates having experience of leading the PMO function will be preferred
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
Strong knowledge of PMO setup, project governance, and portfolio management frameworks
Understanding of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO standards)
Exposure to Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Proficiency in PMO tools, dashboards, and MIS reporting
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Knowledge of banking regulations, audit requirements, and internal control environments
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
To define, establish, build, implement, and manage a supportive PMO ensuring successful implementation of the PMO’s framework, guidelines, strategy, standards, methodology, responsibilities, services, and deliverables
To evaluate, select and implement project management processes, methods, tools, metrics, guidelines & standards, and establish a Project Governance & IT portfolio management framework
To guide and deliver continuous improvement of IT PMO methodologies, processes, templates, and toolkits
To drive better efficiency in delivering applications and services by evolving existing frameworks and processes
To create tangible, repeatable, long-term benefits to the Bank through tailoring and evolving project and portfolio management processes and methodologies
To align project and portfolio management frameworks to corporate strategy and culture
To enable sharing of resources, methodologies, tools and techniques for project success across the Bank
To coach, mentor, train and provide oversight for Project Managers and staff
To demonstrate effective project management techniques and champion a project management culture across the organization
To develop reporting dashboards and tools to facilitate data and insight driven strategic planning, mitigate execution and operations risk, and improve speed to delivery and solution quality
To learn and introduce new tools and processes, as and when required and drive new or changed tools and processes to continually improve performance across ITG
To drive culture of continuous improvement across ITG through ongoing end-to-end process oversight, improvement and reengineering
To manage the performance of managers and professional staff through goal setting, ongoing assessment and experienced coaching
To leverage the performance management cycle to motivate subordinates, support achievement of objectives and coach team members
To produce ongoing reporting MIS / Data on a regular and ad-hoc basis
To identify learning and development needs and recommend a training plan on an annual basis
To ensure that all assignments are duly performed as per schedule & Bank procedures
To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
