Description
Nawara Developers is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at the Lahore office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, preferably within the real estate sector, and a solid understanding of financial reporting and account reconciliation. This role demands precision, reliability, and an ability to maintain accurate financial records to support the company's operations. The position is based in Lahore, with preferred candidates residing near WAPDA Town, Al Kabir Town Phase 2, or Valencia Town. This is an individual contributor role that does not include team management responsibilities. The Accountant will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring that all accounting activities are performed according to established policies and practices. The candidate will work closely with other departments and external partners to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Maintain detailed and organized financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to support management decision-making.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and assist in the preparation of tax filings.
- Collaborate with various teams to collect and verify financial information for reporting purposes.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly to prevent financial errors.
- Update accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support internal financial controls and risk management initiatives as directed by management.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations relevant to the real estate industry.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Assist with payroll processing and related financial documentation when required.
- Provide recommendations to improve overall accounting procedures and financial performance.
