Description
Nisar Synthetic Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing plant construction and machinery installation. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and possesses comprehensive knowledge of project management, manufacturing processes, and materials science. This role focuses on supporting the entire lifecycle of plant construction, from base civil work to final testing of machinery, ensuring equipment functions efficiently and meets quality standards. Although this position does not involve team management, the candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contractors to achieve project goals. The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and modeling assemblies, applying materials characterization techniques, and conducting materials testing and analysis to support manufacturing operations. Utilizing solid engineering principles and tools such as SolidWorks, the successful applicant will contribute to optimizing manufacturing processes and enhancing product reliability. This position requires a proactive engineer who can manage complex installations, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure safe and effective installation practices within a dynamic industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and oversee the manufacturing plant construction and machinery installation projects from initial civil base work through to final testing and commissioning.
- Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and implement new technologies as necessary.
- Utilize SolidWorks and other CAD software to create assembly models and detailed mechanical designs for plant machinery and equipment.
- Perform materials testing and analysis to determine suitability and durability of materials used in manufacturing and construction.
- Apply materials characterization techniques to evaluate mechanical properties and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with project management and construction teams to coordinate activities and ensure project milestones are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation, testing, and operational phases to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
- Monitor and document the progress of machinery installation and plant construction, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to provide guidance on mechanical components and installation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols throughout the construction and installation phases.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and innovative engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate project status and engineering findings to stakeholders.
