Nocfm is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant based in Lahore Garden Town to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in accounting, demonstrating strong knowledge in General Ledger Accounting, Account Reconciliation, and managing the full Invoice lifecycle process. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial records, timely tax preparation, and compliance with applicable regulations. The Accountant will oversee a team of two individuals to enhance financial operations and maintain accurate bookkeeping within the company. The successful candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and exhibit excellent organizational skills to handle Accounts Payable and Receivable efficiently. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to Nocfm’s financial accuracy and integrity, ensuring compliance with tax laws and supporting strategic financial decisions by providing reliable financial data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update General Ledger accounts accurately and timely.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes ensuring timely invoice processing and payments.
• Conduct thorough Account Reconciliation to ensure financial data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Manage the entire Invoice lifecycle from creation to payment and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Supervise, train, and support a team of two accounting staff to ensure high-quality performance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to aid management decisions.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and applicable financial laws.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
• Identify areas for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
