Nzee Foods and Beverages is seeking a skilled Architect / Interior Designer to join our Real Estate Business division. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of professional experience and hold relevant qualifications in architecture or interior design. This role requires expertise in creating innovative and functional architectural and interior design solutions that enhance the value and appeal of real estate properties. The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of five professionals, coordinating design projects from conception through completion, and ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations. Effective client communication and project management skills are essential to successfully deliver design concepts on time and within budget. The Architect / Interior Designer plays a critical role in managing design standards, integrating sustainability practices, and utilizing advanced design software to produce detailed construction documentation and accurate 3D renderings. The position demands strategic oversight of material selection and space planning, while promoting energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions aligned with industry standards such as LEED certification. Collaborative work with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders ensures the timely execution of projects while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the design and construction process.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural and interior design concepts tailored to real estate projects, aligning with client requirements and business goals.
• Manage a team of five designers and architects, providing guidance, oversight, and support to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
• Prepare and produce detailed construction documentation, including drawings, material specifications, and project timelines.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and 3D rendering software to create precise and detailed design plans.
• Coordinate space planning efforts to optimize functionality and aesthetic quality within residential and commercial real estate developments.
• Lead the selection and management of materials and finishes to ensure quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement sustainability practices within design projects, incorporating LEED certification requirements and energy modeling techniques.
• Maintain continuous communication with clients to understand needs, provide design updates, and incorporate feedback.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate a seamless construction process and resolve on-site design issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards throughout all phases of project execution.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery and adherence to financial parameters.
• Review and approve design deliverables, construction drawings, and project reports generated by the team.
• Stay current with emerging architectural trends, new materials, and technological advancements to enhance design innovation.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction quality and provide technical support on design implementation.
• Promote energy-efficient building practices through integration of advanced energy modeling software and sustainable design solutions.
