Olevels Virtual School seeks an experienced and motivated Senior HR Officer to lead and oversee the human resources operations within the organization. The ideal candidate brings at least six years of professional experience in HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, HR policies, and compliance. This role demands a strong understanding of labor and employment laws to ensure the school operates within legal frameworks while promoting a positive workplace culture. The Senior HR Officer will manage a diverse team of 30 personnel, providing guidance and support to optimize HR processes and employee engagement. The Senior HR Officer is responsible for developing strategic HR initiatives that align with the school’s goals and values. This position requires handling recruitment, training, and development activities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining effective communication between management and staff, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. This role fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where employees thrive and the organization’s human capital needs are successfully met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HR team of 30 personnel, providing direction, training, and mentorship to ensure efficient HR operations.
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates aligned with organizational objectives.
- Handle all phases of recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace conflicts, conducting investigations, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback mechanisms, and development plans.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and career progression opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when managing sensitive HR information and issues.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor law and employment regulations to minimize legal risks and protect the organization.
- Operate and optimize the HR information systems to streamline HR activities and reporting.
- Advise management on human resources best practices and support strategic decision-making with accurate data and insights.
- Promote and uphold a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and fairness within the workplace.
- Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization regarding HR initiatives, policies, and benefits.
