Description
The Town Planner at Omega Group is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating comprehensive master plans and layout plans for housing schemes and real estate development projects. This position requires strong expertise in town planning, land use planning, road networks, and infrastructure development, with a focus on ensuring plans meet all applicable regulations and development standards. The planner actively collaborates with civil engineers, architects, surveyors, and development teams to guarantee the effective implementation of approved plans. The role demands a detailed understanding of regulatory requirements and practical experience in managing statutory approval processes, particularly within Punjab. In this role, the Senior Planner utilizes proficiency in AutoCAD and town planning software tools to analyze and support project feasibility and development strategies. The position requires managing multiple assignments concurrently and coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams while providing technical recommendations to management. With a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience and a strong educational background in City & Regional Planning, the Senior Planner plays a critical role in shaping sustainable and compliant urban development for Omega Group's projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and coordinate master plans and layout plans for housing schemes and real estate development projects.
- Plan land utilization, including residential and commercial areas, road networks, parks, and community facilities.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, surveyors, and development teams to ensure effective implementation of approved plans.
- Review planning drawings and monitor compliance with approved layouts, regulations, and development standards.
- Coordinate with relevant development authorities to manage planning requirements, technical documentation, and statutory approval processes.
- Provide technical advice to management on land development, planning strategies, and project feasibility.
- Monitor progress of planning and development activities to ensure alignment with approved project objectives.
- Utilize AutoCAD and relevant town planning software to support planning tasks and documentation.
- Ensure all planning activities comply with local land use regulations and housing scheme planning standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and analyses to convey planning status and recommendations effectively.
