Description
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Medical Credentialing Specialist & Executive Assistant based in Pakistan. This is a full-time position operating during US Central Standard Time (CST) business hours. In this dual role, you will manage healthcare provider credentialing and enrollment processes while directly supporting the principal with administrative tasks, including tailoring resumes and applying for remote US healthcare jobs/roles.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records for medical credentialing processes, including completing applications and verifying provider information across CAQH, PECOS, and major commercial insurance payer portals.
- Review job descriptions for various roles, comprehend specific requirements, and assist in preparing and submitting job applications on behalf of executives or medical staff timely and accurately.
- Support medical billing and revenue cycle management activities by coordinating credentialing status updates, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
- Organize and maintain office administration tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, preparing reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and overseeing tracking tools to monitor credentialing progress.
- Communicate effectively through professional written and verbal exchanges with healthcare providers, insurance payers, and internal teams to address credentialing inquiries, application statuses, and document requests.
- Ensure that all credentialing and administrative processes comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all record-keeping.
- Assist in streamlining workflow processes related to credentialing and executive assistance, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Coordinate with external vendors and insurance payers to resolve credentialing issues and facilitate smooth onboarding of new healthcare providers.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of healthcare credentialing guidelines, insurance policies, and industry best practices to support compliance and operational excellence.
- Provide general administrative support to executive leadership, including preparing correspondence, managing emails, and arranging meetings or conference calls.
