Description
One Stop Medical Services seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Credentialing Specialist & Executive Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a solid background in US healthcare credentialing, medical billing, or revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years of professional experience. In this combined role, you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of insurance credentialing tasks while also providing expert assistance in job application management, supporting organizational needs with high attention to detail and confidentiality. Your ability to tailor resumes and review job descriptions plays a critical role in successfully navigating the application process and supporting executive activities. In this position, you will work independently without managing a team, focusing on delivering precise credentialing solutions and administrative support. Your expertise in handling complex medical documentation, maintaining credentialing databases, and managing communications with insurance providers will be vital. Coordination with healthcare facilities and insurance companies to verify provider credentials and compliance adds to your pivotal responsibilities. Furthermore, your active participation in reviewing job qualifications and ensuring accurate submission of applications on behalf of executives or team members will enhance recruitment and onboarding efforts within the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive insurance credentialing activities including verification, application submission, and follow-up with insurance carriers to ensure timely provider enrollment.
- Maintain and update medical credentialing files and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Assist with medical billing and revenue cycle processes by collaborating with billing departments to verify provider credentials and enrollment status.
- Review job descriptions thoroughly to understand specific role requirements and tailor resumes accordingly to improve the success rate of job applications.
- Submit job applications on behalf of executives or staff with precision, ensuring all required documents are complete, accurate, and properly formatted.
- Coordinate communication between healthcare providers, insurance organizations, and internal departments to facilitate credentialing and billing resolution.
- Prepare and organize supporting documentation for credentialing audits, renewals, and compliance reviews.
- Monitor credentialing status proactively and notify stakeholders of upcoming expiration dates or required re-credentialing processes.
- Collect, validate, and maintain all necessary certifications, licenses, and provider information in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Manage calendars, appointments, and correspondence related to credentialing and executive assistance duties to maximize workflow efficiency.
- Support executive functions through meticulous document preparation, meeting scheduling, and task prioritization aligned with company goals.
