Description
ORN Workwear is seeking a diligent Junior QC Assistant to join our quality control team. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in garment and textile quality control. This role involves supporting the inspection process, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Junior QC Assistant works closely with factory partners across Pakistan, travelling regularly to conduct inspections and validate production quality. Comfort with smartphones, tablets, and basic office software is essential, along with a willingness to learn digital inspection tools. Good communication skills in English and Urdu are required to effectively report and coordinate quality issues. The role does not involve managing a team but requires strong organizational skills and reliability to support the overall quality assurance process within ORN Workwear.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspection of garments and textiles following established quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Identify, document, and report defects or inconsistencies found during inspections accurately and clearly.
- Utilize quality management systems and digital inspection tools to record data and produce reliable reports.
- Perform basic statistical analysis to support quality control decisions and trend identification.
- Ensure all inspection documentation is complete, organized, and submitted within specified deadlines.
- Collaborate with factory partners and internal teams to communicate quality issues and corrective actions required.
- Regularly travel to partner factory sites across Pakistan to perform inspections and monitoring tasks.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on garment construction, fabric types, and workmanship standards through training and practical experience.
- Manage data entry of inspection results into relevant software with high attention to accuracy and detail.
- Follow safety and compliance regulations during inspections, upholding Orn Workwear’s quality policies and standards.
