Description
PAK SILK HOUSE is seeking a meticulous Fabric Quality Checker with at least five years of experience to ensure the highest standards of fabric quality. The ideal candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of Griege Viscose Fabric and possess strong expertise in fabric inspection and defect identification. This role involves carefully examining fabric materials to detect any flaws or inconsistencies according to established quality standards. Precision and attention to detail are critical to maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence in textile products. The Fabric Quality Checker is responsible for conducting thorough quality control inspections throughout the production process. The position requires familiarity with various fabric inspection and defect detection techniques to identify issues such as color variation, weaving flaws, and other defects promptly. Although this role does not include team management, the candidate must work independently and collaborate with production teams to ensure that all fabrics meet or exceed quality compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of Griege Viscose Fabric and other textile materials to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Apply fabric inspection techniques to detect issues related to weaving, color consistency, texture irregularities, and material integrity.
- Verify compliance with company quality standards and client specifications throughout the inspection process.
- Document and report defects accurately using standardized forms and communicate findings effectively to the production and quality assurance teams.
- Recommend corrective actions or improvements based on inspection results to reduce fabric defects and enhance quality control measures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to fabric quality and inspection techniques.
- Ensure that inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for accurate defect detection.
- Assist in training new personnel on fabric inspection procedures and quality control protocols as needed.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to address fabric quality concerns and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality materials.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing fabric quality and reducing production defects.
