Pak Steel is seeking a skilled Over Head Bridge Crane professional with at least five years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in operating and maintaining overhead bridge cranes, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and management effectively. The candidate will oversee a team of 10 persons, providing guidance and supervision to achieve operational goals. In this position, the individual will be responsible for the safe and reliable handling of crane equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and regular maintenance checks. The role demands leadership capabilities to manage the team effectively while ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the crane operations domain at Pak Steel.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain overhead bridge cranes safely in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of 10 persons, ensuring proper workflow and adherence to safety rules.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of crane equipment to detect faults and prevent downtime.
- Coordinate with team members and other departments to facilitate smooth operations and material handling.
- Train and mentor team members on safety practices, operational procedures, and use of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Report and document any incidents, malfunctions, or maintenance activities accurately.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety and operational efficiencies.
- Manage resources effectively to meet production schedules and operational targets.
