Pak Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges is seeking a skilled Content Writer with at least 2 years of experience to join the communications team. The ideal candidate specializes in content writing, research, fact-checking, editing, and proofreading to produce clear and compelling institutional communications. This role involves drafting various communication materials, including website news, event reports, programme descriptions, and social media content, ensuring alignment with approved language standards and corporate messaging. The candidate will actively collaborate with academic and administrative departments, converting complex technical or programme-specific information into clear and engaging messages for diverse audiences and platforms. The Content Writer is responsible for maintaining an editorial calendar, standard templates, and an organized archive of all institutional communications. This position supports the PR Manager in preparing major publications, campaigns, and communication packages. The candidate will also coordinate with the Digital Marketing & Creative Lead to blend text and visuals effectively. Additionally, the role requires establishing a structured newsfeed network across campuses and ensuring a steady flow of verified content to the central public relations function. This role does not involve team management but requires excellent coordination and communication skills to work across various departments and schools.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and proofread institutional communications adhering to approved language and communication standards.
• Review grammar, syntax, terminology, tone, factual accuracy, and consistency before publication.
• Prepare and edit website news, announcements, programme descriptions, event reports, and institutional updates.
• Maintain and regularly update website content in coordination with relevant departments.
• Identify and coordinate the revision of outdated website information.
• Prepare and manage Parent Portal announcements, notices, and parent-facing communications.
• Develop content for official communication channels including social media captions, website content, and internal communications.
• Adapt institutional messages appropriately for different audiences and platforms to ensure clarity and engagement.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to translate technical or programme-specific data into accessible public-facing content.
• Maintain consistency in institutional terminology, programme names, campus names, and corporate messaging throughout all communications.
• Maintain an editorial calendar to schedule announcements, campaigns, events, and institutional communications.
• Develop and maintain standard templates for announcements, news stories, website articles, and parent communications.
• Conduct final editorial reviews of major publications and promotional materials before their release.
• Coordinate the alignment of text and visual content with the Digital Marketing & Creative Lead.
• Organize and archive approved texts, announcements, website content, and communication templates systematically.
• Support the PR Manager in preparing major institutional publications, official campaigns, and communication packages.
• Establish and maintain a structured newsfeed network across campuses to ensure the regular collection, verification, and publication of school updates and achievements.
• Coordinate with designated campus focal points to maintain timely and consistent information flow to the central public relations department.
