Description

The successful candidate will leverage 2 to 3 years of primary teaching experience along with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to manage a dynamic classroom environment with confidence and care. Your lesson planning will reflect a deep understanding of curriculum standards and student learning needs, incorporating assessment and feedback mechanisms to monitor and guide student progress. This position emphasizes fostering a positive classroom climate by implementing restorative practices to resolve conflicts and support social-emotional learning. Maintaining transparent and constructive communication with parents and guardians is essential to ensure each child's growth and well-being are prioritized throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and school educational standards.
• Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and discipline.
• Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and optimize learning conditions.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations to identify learning needs and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Maintain clear, consistent, and supportive communication with parents and guardians regarding academic performance, behavior, and social development.
• Apply restorative practices and conflict resolution strategies to address student behavioral issues and foster a respectful classroom community.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to coordinate instructional strategies, share resources, and attend professional development sessions.
• Integrate family engagement initiatives to involve parents actively in their child’s learning process and school activities.
• Support the holistic development of students by promoting social-emotional skills alongside academic growth.
• Uphold school policies, safety procedures, and professional standards to maintain a secure and productive classroom environment.
