Description
Pakistan Maid Services is seeking experienced and responsible Driver HTV professionals to join our team for operations between Islamabad and Karachi. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) licence and possess at least one year of professional driving experience. This role demands excellent knowledge of the Islamabad-Karachi route, along with strong adherence to safety and traffic regulations. Drivers are expected to demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and professional conduct while ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods or personnel. This position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent individual responsibility and communication skills. The Driver HTV will perform thorough vehicle inspections, plan routes effectively, and implement defensive driving techniques to uphold high standards of safety. Candidates should be familiar with traffic law compliance and vehicle safety protocols, facilitating smooth operations within Pakistan Maid Services’ transportation network.
Responsibilities
- Drive heavy transport vehicles safely and professionally across the Islamabad to Karachi route while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups between designated locations.
- Conduct detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and vehicle operation guidelines to minimize risks during transportation.
- Maintain clear communication with the operations team regarding trip progress, delays, or incidents.
- Demonstrate defensive driving skills to prevent accidents and respond effectively to road hazards.
- Keep accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and any incidents encountered on the route.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle to uphold company standards and ensure safety.
- Comply with all legal requirements related to heavy vehicle operation and carry a valid HTV driving licence at all times.
- Report any mechanical failures, accidents, or violations promptly to the appropriate authorities or company representatives.
- Exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and courteous behavior while interacting with clients or the public during assignments.
