Procurement and Sourcing Manager

Pakistan Wire Industries is seeking an experienced Procurement and Sourcing Manager to lead and optimize our procurement operations. This role requires a professional with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and an MBA in Supply Chain to oversee strategic sourcing activities, negotiate contracts, and manage the overall procurement cycle. The ideal candidate possesses at least eight years of relevant experience and demonstrates strong analytical abilities in cost and risk management. As a team leader, the Procurement and Sourcing Manager will supervise a team of three professionals, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient execution of sourcing strategies aligned with company goals. In this position, the manager will drive supply chain excellence by evaluating supplier performance, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and mitigating risks associated with procurement activities. With a focus on continuous improvement, the role demands a hands-on approach to managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations, fostering collaboration within the procurement team and with cross-functional departments. The Procurement and Sourcing Manager plays a critical role in sustaining the company's competitive advantage by optimizing supply costs and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet company procurement objectives.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and cost-benefit evaluations to optimize spending.
• Manage the entire procurement cycle from requisition through delivery and payment.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to sourcing and supply chain disruptions.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of a procurement team of three members.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and procurement best practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to communicate procurement status and outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvements in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
