Responsibilities
- Develop and design electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics systems using computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
- Implement and manage product lifecycle management (PLM) processes to monitor and improve product development.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and solve design and process issues affecting product quality and performance.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC) for automation and control systems.
- Coordinate project planning activities to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects.
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor production processes and maintain quality standards.
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, and industrial components to create efficient and reliable systems.
- Conduct quality control and assurance assessments to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production workflows and reduce operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices throughout design and implementation phases.
- Document engineering designs, procedures, and test results accurately and clearly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance product performance and process efficiency.
- Analyze technical data and create reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Participate in vendor and supplier evaluations to select appropriate components and materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engineering trends, tools, and technologies relevant to electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering disciplines.
