Description
Panazone Business System is seeking a skilled Photocopier Machine Technician with at least three years of experience to join our maintenance and repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of photocopier machines to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong technical knowledge of photocopier systems, including paper feed mechanisms, printer and network configurations, and connectivity troubleshooting. Additionally, the technician will manage a team of two persons, overseeing their daily activities, providing guidance, and ensuring team objectives align with company standards. The role involves direct interaction with customers, providing technical support and service to resolve issues efficiently. The technician will be tasked with configuring printers, deploying relevant drivers such as PCL and PostScript, and utilizing network diagnostic tools including ping, ipconfig, tracert, and nslookup. Strong expertise in managing embedded web servers (EWS), SNMP devices, Windows print management, and TCP/IP-based connectivity issues is essential. The ideal candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of photocopier technical details and be able to convey technical information clearly to customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot photocopier machine problems to restore functionality promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on paper feed systems, printers, and network components.
- Configure and optimize printer settings, including deployment of PCL and PostScript drivers.
- Manage network configurations of photocopiers, resolving connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, DHCP, and related protocols.
- Utilize network diagnostic utilities like ping, ipconfig, tracert, and nslookup to identify and fix network problems.
- Manage embedded web servers (EWS) and SNMP device monitoring to ensure smooth operation and connectivity.
- Provide technical support and customer service, addressing client queries and resolving system issues effectively.
- Lead and supervise a team of two technicians, coordinating work schedules, training, and quality control.
- Maintain accurate service records and report machine status and repair activities to management.
- Collaborate with the Windows print management environment to integrate photocopier functionality with client networks.
