Order Picker & Shelving Management

Description

Panda Mart is seeking a dedicated Order Picker & Shelving Management professional with at least two years of experience in warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is skilled in executing order picking tasks accurately and efficiently, managing inventory, and performing stock replenishment and shelving duties to ensure optimal store aesthetics and product availability. This role requires hands-on experience with RF scanner operation, barcode and SKU verification, and strict adherence to FIFO and FEFO stock rotation methods. The position does not involve managing a team but demands a high level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining order accuracy and quality control. As a key contributor to Panda Mart's supply chain operations, the selected candidate will play an essential role in supporting the smooth flow of goods from receiving to the sales floor. Responsibilities include verifying product information, maintaining proper packing and labeling, and ensuring that shelves are consistently stocked according to store standards. A thorough understanding of warehouse safety protocols, inventory management principles, and quality assurance processes is vital to succeed in this role. The candidate should be capable of working efficiently within tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements and standard operating procedures to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, performing stock counts, and initiating replenishment activities to avoid stockouts.
• Operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology to confirm product details and update inventory records.
• Perform quality control checks during order picking and packing to ensure order accuracy and prevent shipping errors.
• Pack and label products appropriately before shipment, ensuring compliance with packaging standards and protecting product integrity.
• Use FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) stock rotation methods to minimize waste and optimize shelf life.
• Replenish shelves regularly to maintain product availability and an organized, visually appealing store environment.
• Verify barcodes and SKU numbers to confirm correct product selection and avoid inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly arrangement in the inventory and shelving areas to facilitate efficient operations.
• Adhere to company safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to create a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and store personnel regarding stock levels, issues, and workflow adjustments.
• Assist in unloading shipments and verifying incoming inventory against purchase orders and manifests.
• Report any damaged or missing products promptly and work collaboratively to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements related to order picking and shelving management.
