Paragon City (Pvt.) Ltd seeks a skilled Mason to build and repair walls, foundations, and other structures with bricks, blocks, stones, mortar, and concrete. The Mason works under the guidance of site supervisors and civil engineers, ensuring adherence to construction drawings and quality standards. A key part of this role is to prepare and apply cement mortar, perform bricklaying and block laying, and assist with concrete mixing to contribute to robust construction projects. The Mason exercises measurement and layout skills to align materials precisely and maintain structural integrity across all tasks. The Mason maintains a safe and organized worksite by adhering strictly to safety compliance standards and wearing proper protective equipment. The ideal candidate brings at least eight years of experience in masonry, showing expertise in various techniques such as mortar mixing, concrete mixing, and plastering. Although the role does not involve team management, strong communication with supervisors and coordination with other construction trades are essential. This position offers a chance to work on significant construction projects with Paragon City (Pvt.) Ltd, contributing hands-on craftsmanship and practical construction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Construct walls and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and stones according to detailed construction drawings.
• Prepare, mix, and apply cement mortar and concrete for brickwork, blockwork, and foundational work.
• Perform precise bricklaying, block laying, and masonry services ensuring accuracy in dimensions and structural alignment.
• Measure, mark, cut, and align bricks and blocks accurately using measurement and layout techniques.
• Carry out plastering and rendering for walls and surfaces to achieve smooth finishes and durable coatings.
• Assist with concrete foundations and other civil construction activities as needed.
• Inspect wall alignment, levels, verticality, and dimensions regularly to ensure compliance with construction standards.
• Repair and restore damaged masonry structures, including filling cracks and replacing broken materials.
• Operate hand tools and construction equipment safely and efficiently while observing all safety regulations.
• Keep the worksite clean and organized, and ensure proper storage and handling of masonry materials.
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and civil engineers meticulously to maintain project quality and timelines.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and comply with construction site safety rules at all times.
