Description
Patsa Pakistan is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to oversee and manage the complete inventory lifecycle within the company's supply chain and warehouse operations. This role focuses on ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient supply chain coordination, and smooth order processing. The Inventory Controller acts as a key link between suppliers, transporters, and customers, ensuring timely receipt, proper storage, and dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, hands-on experience within warehouse settings, and proficiency working with inventory management software and spreadsheets. This position requires 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience and a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records through regular updates and physical stock verification.
- Coordinate supply chain activities by liaising with suppliers, transporters, and customers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse, ensuring compliance with quality control guidelines.
- Utilize inventory software and Microsoft Excel to track stock levels, generate reports, and analyze inventory data for continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain product standards.
- Perform cycle counts and complete comprehensive stock audits to detect discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Monitor warehouse organization to optimize space utilization and streamline material handling processes.
- Support warehouse operations by engaging in hands-on activities, including physical stock counting and order preparation.
- Implement and uphold safety and compliance standards within warehouse and inventory control procedures.
- Identify inefficiencies in inventory management processes and propose solutions to enhance accuracy and reduce costs.
- Report regularly to management on inventory status, supply chain performance, and potential risks affecting stock availability.
