Description
People Source Management is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team based in Lahore, Pakistan. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience and is skilled in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, accounts payable and receivable, financial analysis, and the preparation of financial statements according to IFRS standards. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting the ERP system integration and implementation processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency with ERP software such as SAP and Oracle. The Accountant plays a key role in managing daily accounting operations without direct team management responsibilities. The successful candidate must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the broader finance function. The position is based near Hanjarwal, Multan Road, Lahore, offering an opportunity to contribute to the financial health and operational success of People Source Management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering data, analyzing trends, and preparing financial projections.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies by investigating account variances.
- Support the implementation and integration of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle to enhance accounting processes.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, for internal and external use.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies in all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and update accounting procedures and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation to support auditing and reporting requirements.
- Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and assist in financial training when needed.
