People Source Management is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team at our Lahore location. The ideal candidate is a talented finance professional with at least two years of relevant experience and will be responsible for managing a team of three individuals. This role requires expertise in financial reporting, taxation, budget analysis, and statutory compliance. The candidate must have strong analytical skills, efficient communication capabilities, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, ensuring accurate and timely financial management and reporting. The CA will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by handling duties such as preparing and analyzing financial statements, coordinating audits, managing bank reconciliations, and contributing to budgeting and cost control measures. This position demands a detail-oriented professional who can lead the team effectively while aligning finance operations with organizational goals. Candidates with CA, ACCA qualifications, or CA Inter credentials, and a solid understanding of IFRS and general ledger management are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory standards and company policies.
• Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements to support strategic business decisions.
• Oversee taxation processes and ensure adherence to all tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate audit activities, liaise with auditors, and provide necessary documentation and support.
• Manage budgeting processes, perform costing analysis, and independently analyze financial data to enhance budgeting accuracy.
• Supervise bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and ensure overall integrity of financial records.
• Generate detailed management reports to assist senior leadership in planning and decision-making.
• Develop and implement finance-related assignments and process improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
• Mentor and guide a team of three finance professionals to achieve departmental goals and enhance individual performance.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards such as IFRS, and recommend necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
