Responsibilities
- Install fire alarm systems following manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure fire systems function correctly.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire alarm and detection systems promptly.
- Test fire detection devices and alarm components regularly to verify operational status.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately for compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with site personnel to schedule installation and maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Understand and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics related to fire systems.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant fire safety codes and regulations.
- Maintain inventory of replacement parts and report needs to management.
- Stay updated on the latest fire system technologies and maintenance practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance during fire system upgrades or expansions.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
