URDU LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR

Piffers Security Services (Pvt.) Limited is seeking a skilled Urdu Language Instructor to provide structured and engaging language training to adult professional learners in Islamabad. This role involves delivering language instruction across survival, beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, with an emphasis on job-related and cultural terminology. The instructor will work primarily on-site but may also conduct virtual classes when approved. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Urdu, possesses strong expertise in the NFATC language teaching methodology, and has a minimum of four years of experience teaching adult foreign students. Fluency in Urdu and strong English communication skills are essential for professional correspondence and instructional delivery. The instructor is responsible for developing comprehensive lesson plans, preparing training materials, and conducting regular proficiency assessments to monitor learner progress. They will provide personalized coaching that aligns with learners’ specific job functions, support learner success through counseling sessions, and deliver detailed feedback to improve instructional effectiveness. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, with a focus on a collaborative and resource-rich learning environment that supports both in-person and virtual instruction in Islamabad.

Responsibilities

• Deliver language courses at survival, beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, including specialized short courses tailored to group needs.
• Provide guided study, coaching, and training customized to learners’ job roles and language proficiency goals.
• Create, maintain, and update training materials and teaching aids, ensuring an organized and accessible resource library.
• Conduct initial and ongoing proficiency testing to establish learner baselines and track their advancement.
• Document individual learner progress by lesson module and design remedial or supplementary training plans to address learning gaps.
• Facilitate bi-weekly counseling sessions for all students and weekly support for learners who require additional assistance.
• Prepare detailed feedback reports at the end of each session and periodic survey reports with recommendations to enhance course effectiveness.
• Use approved educational technologies such as Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, and Skype to support virtual learning environments as needed.
• Maintain cultural competence and sensitivity to support a diverse range of adult professional learners.
• Adhere to the client’s security clearance and vetting requirements to ensure compliance within the workplace.
