Description
PK Home Care Service is seeking compassionate, responsible, and hardworking female caregivers to provide professional home-based care to patients, elderly individuals, and those requiring support with daily activities. This role focuses on delivering personalized and attentive care, ensuring the well-being, comfort, and safety of clients within their homes in Peshawar. Candidates will assist with personal hygiene, mobility, medication reminders, emotional support, and regular health monitoring, maintaining a safe and clean environment. The role demands dedication, empathy, and professionalism, with a strong emphasis on respecting patient dignity and confidentiality. Selected caregivers will be matched with families based on their experience and availability, with flexible duty durations ranging from part-time to live-in assignments. This position requires excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in caregiving, offering opportunities for long-term placement and career growth. While the role does not involve managing a team, caregivers are expected to collaborate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and maintaining patient hygiene.
- Assist patients with mobility and walking exercises to support independence and prevent falls.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with feeding as directed by family members or healthcare providers.
- Monitor vital signs and observe the general condition of patients, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the family.
- Offer emotional and companionship support to promote psychological well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Practice infection control procedures and basic first aid to address minor injuries or emergencies effectively.
- Use proper patient transfer techniques, including wheelchair transfers, to facilitate safe movement.
- Follow detailed care plans and family instructions precisely to meet patient-specific needs.
- Maintain professionalism in behavior, punctuality, confidentiality, and communication with families.
- Adapt to various duty schedules, including 4-hour, 8-hour, 12-hour, and live-in shifts, ensuring consistent and reliable care.
- Demonstrate patience, honesty, and a caring attitude while respecting the dignity and privacy of all patients.
