PNY Trainings is seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Advance Web Application Development Instructor to provide practical, industry-aligned training based on the NAVTTC curriculum. This role requires delivering comprehensive instruction in both front-end and back-end web development technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap. The instructor will engage students through interactive teaching methods, practical projects, and assessments to equip them with in-demand skills for web application development. Maintaining high student engagement and attendance throughout the training is a key expectation. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with at least three years of teaching or training experience and substantial industry experience in web application development. The instructor must demonstrate strong communication, classroom management, and project guidance capabilities. While this position does not involve managing a team, the instructor plays a critical role in student retention by encouraging active participation and providing timely follow-ups for students showing low attendance or involvement.

Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive training strictly following the NAVTTC Advanced Web Application Development curriculum and PNY Trainings' course outlines within the designated timeframe.
- Teach core front-end web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive design principles.
- Provide instruction on JavaScript fundamentals, including functions, loops, objects, and arrays, as well as jQuery selectors, events, and effects.
- Deliver thorough training on PHP, covering fundamentals, functions, arrays, form handling, control structures, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts such as classes, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, and encapsulation.
- Guide students in MySQL database creation, SQL operations, and integration with PHP applications.
- Train students to develop CRUD applications and implement MVC architecture following Laravel best practices, including routing, Blade templating, migrations, relationships, and security measures.
- Lead practical sessions on creating RESTful APIs and building Laravel-based applications.
- Conduct regular practical assignments, coding tasks, assessments, and examinations to evaluate student progress and reinforce learning.
- Provide hands-on guidance for developing key projects such as CRUD apps, REST APIs, Gallery applications, and final capstone projects to ensure practical experience.
- Maintain accurate daily attendance records and proactively work to ensure consistent student participation and retention throughout the training duration.
- Identify students with low attendance or engagement levels promptly and implement follow-up measures to encourage continued involvement.
- Create an interactive and motivating classroom environment using diverse teaching methods to keep students engaged and connected to the course material.
- Foster close supervision and mentoring to support students’ learning outcomes and professional development in web application development.
